The words that come into my mind when I saw the word “focus” are “concentration” and “attention”. It can be concentrating on a task or paying attention on a matter and engaging with it on an active cognitive level. You pay attention to your surroundings. You focus because you want to learn something new. Then, you think about it, deal with it, and process the knowledge in your mind and lastly put into your memory. All of these happened because of your interest.
Focus is vital in our lifelong journey. Whatever or whoever we want to be, we need the “focus” criteria. “Focus” habit will then turn into “discipline”. Repetitive action consistently is the key to success. When you stay focused on one thing, you’re more apt to complete it with greater efficiency. Your ability to finish tasks at a quicker pace bring motivation to you to move forward confidently and with courage. And, knowing you’re capable of getting things done will help you stay positive always.
Being focused means that you have clear goals and objectives and your work is a process of dedication to achieving them. When you have decided what you are going to do, you will stay focused on how you can make the progress towards achieving your goals within the timeframe and available resources. So, in other words, by focusing, you make progress. If you stay focused, you are able to shut out all distractions and give full concentration and undivided attention to the task that you are trying to complete.

How we can stay focused
1. Single task

At first, you focus on a single task, your brain becomes focused on that task alone. You’re able to complete that task quicker compared to multi-tasking. You start with every single task; you complete it individually every time. Then, you gain and accumulate all those single task’s experience. In future, you’re able to carry out two or three or even more tasks at one time. This is because you’ve mastered the skills, you've knowledge and
you’re more competent to handle it.
2. Know your goals and objectives

Goals means the target. Where you want to hit, where is your destination? This is an important question in our life. If we don’t know or set our goals precisely, we will constantly do the things in a less energetic way. People who don’t have goals end up spending their time doing everything but leave their most important task behind.
3. Eliminate distractions

We live in a technology era full of distractions that take away our scarce time and concentration. To overcome this trap, we need to discipline ourselves. Turn off notifications for everything that distract you, for example social medias, games, messages etc. The phone is the number one distraction in our life nowadays. Don’t let it steal our precious time and become an obstacle in our journey to success.
4. Time management

The right time management strategy plays a vital role in helping you stay focused. Well-organized and prioritize the tasks. You can create a “timebox” or just simply use the diary planners. You schedule out every single part in your day. Remember, little by little becomes a lot. You set the target and aim to achieve it. You will stay focused because you want to complete the tasks within the time.
Conclusion
Focus is an approach to work that prevents you forget your original intention. Life can be challenging and fast-paced, focus can protect yourself towards the right direction.

You've put a lot of thought into this and gone deep on each point. You have a real gift at explaining your process very clearly and understandably with appropriate language for the task. I will definitely take these tips on board to help me stay focused.
