Life is all about exploration. Exploration begins with eating out in a new restaurant or coffee shop, visiting new places or clothing stores, tasting different cuisines, and so on. By exploring new things, we get to identify and understand every detail of it which will somehow make our life more interesting.
Last week I visited Bangkok, Thailand which was organized by my company. It was 4 days of beautiful journey. Here are the 5 things that I explored while I was in Bangkok.
1. Air Travel
Travelling by flight has actually been my dream for many years. The lucky thing was I spent zero penny to travel. Everything was under the company. I was so happy to receive this opportunity. The flight traveling was so smooth. Looking out of the window was the first thing I explored on the flight. The world seemed small and beautiful. The second flight exploration was walking to the end part of the plane while flying. It was an experience I will never forget.
2. Luxury Hotel
I got to explore the feelings of staying alone in a luxury hotel room. Anantara Riverside Hotel is a stunning place to stay if you visit Bangkok. The beds were comfy, breakfast buffet with a large choice of food and beverages, beautiful flower ponds, and a swimming pool.
3. Boat Travel
To be really honest, Yes, traveling in a boat was a new experience for me. I’ve never been on a boat before. I thoroughly enjoyed the sound of water splashing on both sides of the boat while moving fast on the river.
4. Rooftop Bar
I had an unforgettable experience at SEEN Restaurant & Bar. The breath-taking view of Bangkok City from a rooftop was an amazing experience. I enjoyed delicious food and desserts in this romantic environment. Other than that, I had a glass of champagne, red wine, and white wine for the first time. Everything that I explored during this trip was an unforgettable memory.
5. People, Culture and Environment
During this company conference trip, I had a chance to meet many people from different countries. I made many new friends who are from the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, and China. I learned and understood their culture when they shared their life experience and career success. Everyone comes from a different family background yet were so kind to one another. Other than that, I also visited Chatuchat Weekend Market & Sampheng Market in Bangkok. The environment was so crowded and filled with so many varieties of markets. Long hours of walking, a lot of great deals, nice street food with motorcycles passing through. You need a lot of energy and patience if you are visiting these markets.
I cannot believe I finally explored all these at the age of 27. I see this as a wonderful opportunity for me where I got to explore many new things in my life. I cannot wait to come out of my comfort zone again and try many new things. Thanks to the universe for making every one of my dreams come true !!
Very interesting, and well-laid out article. It really was a trip full of firsts!
